Recruit Training is the foundation upon which successful Sea Cadet careers are built. Completing Recruit Training at RTC Great Lakes is an exceptional achievement that you'll be proud of and will remember for years to come.

RTC Great Lakes is the Navy's only boot camp. Our instructors are active duty USN Recruit Division Commanders....professional, dedicated men and women who know how to teach and guide, transforming civilians into Sailors. Cadet recruits are to arrive between 1500-2000 on Friday, 18JUN10. All cadet recruits MUST be aboard and checked in by 2000 FRIDAY...please insure travel arrangements fit this window. Officers/staff should arrive between 1300 and 1800 on Thursday, 17JUN10.

Those cadets wishing to staff Recruit Training must contact LT Luzadder separately at dluzadder@aol.com.

Graduation will be held at 1000 on Sunday, 27JUN10 at the USS Midway Ceremonial Drill Hall aboard RTC Great Lakes. Cadets traveling home by commercial air should plan for a flight home NO EARLIER THAN 1400 on Sunday, 27JUN10.

PLEASE NOTE YOUR DEPOSIT MUST BE IN THE FORM OF A CASHIER'S CHECK OR MONEY ORDER MADE OUT TO "USNSCC".

NEW: The Navy Exchange (NEX) will be professionally video taping our Recruit Graduation this year. If you wish to purchase a DVD commemorating your cadet's graduation, please click here to download the form. Fill it out and mail it to the address on the form.
